Voter Registration

In order to comply with the Higher Education Act the following information is being supplied. The Department of Education’s goal is to encourage student participation in elections.

If you are not registered to vote, you may register to vote in the state of your choice using the National Voter Registration Form. Deadlines for registering to vote in each state vary. Starting on page 3 of the National Form instructions, you will find instructions for all States. If you are not able to retrieve any of the forms or would prefer a paper copy, you can request one by contacting:

If you are already registered to vote and will be away from your home address on Election Day, please remember you will need to request an absentee ballot. For guidance on requesting an absentee ballot, contact the county clerk’s office in the area you are registered.
