In addition to accrediting its own courses, the University of the Aftermarket accredits many non-university courses offered within the motor vehicle aftermarket. These accreditations are based on a combination of academic (Northwood University) and industry-specific (ASE/NATEF) standards.
Educational event organizers must apply to have their programs considered for accreditation by the University of the Aftermarket. A downloadable PDF of the Accreditation Standards is available below.
Once accredited, programs will be listed in the official University of the Aftermarket course calendar and all participants of these accredited courses may qualify to receive Continuing Education Units that can be applied toward the Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) or Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) certificate.
