Automotive Marketing Certificate
Northwood University's Automotive Marketing & Management department designs and delivers educational programs to enhance professionalism and produce a more profitable dealership. Courses are taught by faculty who have extensive industry experience and are current to the latest automotive research and trends. Courses are designed and delivered to meet specific client needs. Courses can be delivered at Northwood campuses and Program Centers across the country.
Automotive Marketing Certificate
The Northwood University Automotive Marketing and Management certificate programs are designed to deliver role-based education for aspiring new and experienced automotive retail dealership employees.
Training Tracts
The Training Tract consists of four program modules and is designed for many of the dealership operational roles. Modules are delivered via the Internet over a 12 week session. The modules require learners to devote approximately one to three hours per week to successfully complete each module.
Content includes information pertaining to job role responsibilities and accountability requirements; departmental relationships to dealership success; procedural instructions for performing key departmental and job functions; goal and objective setting, and fundamental principles of management, marketing and selling.
Each module pertains to various roles within the dealership organization.

The tuition rate is $595.00 per module. Enrollees receive 1.25 CEU credits per module upon successful completion.

Dealership Management Series
A series of five courses designed to provide the dealer a better understanding of dealership operations. Courses can be delivered over four consecutive days or as individual topic sessions.
Management Techniques
The course includes three components including Managing Human Resources, Merchandising Revisited, and Financial Management and Business Planning.
Financial Services
Designed for Business Office management, the course highlights how to make financial services a positive customer service center to further promote the dealership.
