- Midland, Michigan Campus is a 434-acre wooded campus and is located along the banks of the Tittabawassee River. Northwood University is located just fifteen miles from Lake Huron and one hundred and thirty-five miles north of Detroit. Midland is the home of two Fortune 500 companies, The Dow Chemical Company and Dow Corning.
- Cedar Hill, Texas Campus offers students gorgeous scenery as well as the peaceful atmosphere that the surrounding cedar covered hills and valleys offer.
- The Florida Campus is located in West Palm Beach and not far from the ocean beaches. The campuses buildings are within close proximity to each other, while the staff offers you personalized attention to help you achieve your goals.
Q: How much time must I commit to the Adult Degree Program each week?
A: The amount of time commitment depends on your course load and the format of the course you are completing. The eight week classroom courses that we offer require a one night per week commitment in addition to pre-work, post-work, and homework. The three day seminar and weekend courses require pre-work before the class begins, homework, and post-work as well. Online courses do not have specific meeting dates or times. Instead our online courses offer the flexibility of meeting deadlines from the comfort of your own home. Most online courses meet eight weeks for the Fall and Spring semesters. Summer term is six weeks in length.

A: Prior Learning Assessment
- Earn college credit for your Prior Learning experience and knowledge.
- A person's Prior Learning over the years may be translated into college-level learning. This learning can be evaluated in terms of required and/or elective courses for specific degree programs.
- To apply for Prior Learning credit, you should have significant work experience and a minimum of 3-5 years of related and documented management experience.
- A maximum of 30 semester hours of credit may be awarded. (Texas maximum is 15 semester credits).
- Prior Learning is evaluated much like that of coursework. The evaluator awards credit where appropriate.
- Students interested in Prior Learning credit will complete PL 1010, a 1 credit online course during their first semester at Northwood University where they will develop their portfolio.
- The portfolio must be submitted by the PL due date (posted per semester) approximately 120 days after PL 1010 ends.

A: Transfer students have been an integral part of the Northwood University fabric since the earliest years of the school. Some of these students have enrolled at Northwood University after attending a community college; others from four year public and private universities, and some after serving in the military. Students may enter Northwood at any point in their college career. Regardless of what path brings students to Northwood, our admissions staff will help students apply the credits already earned and the experiences already gained elsewhere into their Northwood curriculum. Eleven courses are required for completion to receive a Northwood University degree.

A: Yes, we do offer online courses. You can earn your Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree online. The Online program allows you flexible course scheduling. You can earn your entire degree online or complete your degree through a combination of online and classroom-based courses. A: Successful completion of the Adult Degree Program requires completion of a minimum of 123 semester hours, required core and capstone course completion, and a graduation audit signed by the Registrar. Your financial account must be at a zero balance in order to receive your diploma or transcript.
